Privacy Policy

Vega is a VPN service. The app connects to Vega servers and routes your traffic through an encrypted tunnel. Access is provided by a subscription in the app or through our Telegram bot.

We keep no logs

• We do not record which websites, apps or addresses you open.
• We do not store or analyse the contents of your traffic.
• We do not show ads and do not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
• We do not sell or share data with third parties.
• We do not collect your name, address or other information by which you could be identified, beyond the phone number or e-mail you choose to link to your account for signing in.

What is stored on your device

Your account data and app settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them too.

What the app sends us

One thing only: a short report if the VPN stops working. It lets us fix failures that we would otherwise learn about days later, second-hand. The report can be switched off on the “Diagnostics” screen and is not sent if you switch it off.

The report contains:

• the app version and the system version;
• the network type (Wi‑Fi or mobile) and the name of the carrier;
• the memory used by the VPN extension;
• a random installation identifier — not linked to you or to the device, and regenerated on reinstall;
• the last lines of our own connection log.

What the report does not contain: the addresses you visit, the contents of your traffic, or your access credentials. Anything that looks like an address is removed twice — in the app before sending and on the server when written.

Account sign-in

If you link a phone number or e-mail to your account, we store it only to send you sign-in codes and to find your subscription. It is not used for marketing and is not shared.

Traffic

While the tunnel is on, your device's traffic goes to a Vega server and on to the internet. We do not record or analyse its contents and do not pass this data to third parties.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
